Rehabilitation and extension of a town hall and municipal library
The 40m² extension in wooden frame and slatted cladding (Douglas) is a room available to associations and the municipal library, with office, archives and public toilets.
Open across its entire width, the room benefits from maximum natural light. The materials and colors used inside the room contribute to the warm atmosphere of this space.
The redevelopment of the existing has allowed an optimized redistribution of spaces, creating a real council and wedding room, an office for elected officials, a reception, a toilet block and a secretariat.
The use of solid oak for all carpentry and cabinetmaking work and colors contribute to the enhancement of a building symbolizing the 'common good'.
The facade is clad in three-ply or openwork wood cladding (Douglas), creating a new strong unity on the village square for this public building.
